According to the law 4186/2013 number of decision 39, paragraph 30, the Chairman of the Department is defined by an act of the Rector of the University. The responsibilities of the General Assembly of the Department, to the standalone operation, are being managed by the Deanship of the school of sciences. As Chairman of the Department is set Prof. George Stamoulis.
